Rev. Monica Humpal, MCC
I’m Rev. Monica Humpal. I’m a pastor, a Master Certified Coach, and someone who knows firsthand what it means to rebuild a life and a relationship after betrayal.
I don’t do this work because I studied it from a distance. I do it because I lived it.
Years ago, my marriage was rocked by infidelity. I walked the long road of separation, reconciliation, grief, and hard-earned healing. That experience reshaped not only my marriage, but my calling. I learned that healing is not about going back to who you were before. It is about becoming wiser, steadier, and more fully yourself.
I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and a graduate degree from Lutheran Seminary. I am also certified through the World Coaching Institute, with specialized training in relationship and group coaching. But my greatest teacher has been real life. Sitting in the mess. Asking better questions. Learning how to stay grounded when everything feels uncertain.
Today, I support women who have chosen to stay and rebuild after betrayal. I help them move out of survival mode and into clarity, strength, and self-trust. My work blends practical coaching tools, emotional honesty, and deep compassion. I will never rush your process or minimize your pain. I will also tell you the truth, even when it is uncomfortable, because that is where real healing happens.
I live in North Carolina and am the mother of two grown children. I believe resilience is built, not bestowed. Healing is possible. And you do not have to figure this out alone.

“Monica was great at helping me understand the concepts and strategies she shared with me. And, she has a caring manner as she shares her knowledge, compassion, and empathy.”
